Though I haven't finished Dark Crusade, the additional two armies in Soulstorm continue to give you new choices and the opportunity to try new tactics. The flying units are ok, but not really a game changer. Jumping from planet to planet in the campaign mode forces you to reinforce the provinces containing jump gates, but not that much has really changed.
A nice add on for the armies and the maps. I paid full price and feel that I overpaid. Wait until it drops to 29.95 or lower.
